Cycling
Cycling is my addiction. About four years ago I received a bicycle for my birthday after years of roller-blading. Now I just can't get off the saddle. I put around 5000km a year by commuting alone. Yes I commute year round even in our harsh climate. I'm also interested in cyclo-touring and bike advocacy. This page will serve as a place to hold information about cycling and trips I have taken or plan on taking.
Previous Trips
- Summer 2004: 500Km with a friend along the Saint-Lawrence river and in the Quebec region.
- Summer 2007: Four day trip at Parc-de-la-Jacques Cartier, multi-mode commute bus from Montreal to Quebec, rest (160Km round trip) by bike.
- Summer 2008: 800Km trip to Rouyn-Noranda in Abitibi, I completed this fully self-supported trip alone in around 7 days.
